Lorenzo Bruno Falco

Lorenzo Bruno Falco, 59, of Buckeye died April 10, 2014, in Phoenix from a car accident.

Mr. Falco was born Sept. 3, 1954, in Phoenix.

He is survived by one daughter, Rebecca Falco; two sons, Fernando and Lorenzo Jr.; one sister, Rosie; and 10 grandchildren.

Services will be private.

Joseph Anthony Flores

Joseph Anthony Flores, 31, formerly of Avondale, died April 13, 2013, in Phoenix.

Mr. Flores was born June 16, 1982, in Phoenix to Richard Flores and Denise Russo.

He is survived by his parents, Richard Flores and Denise Russo; two brothers, Richie Flores and Ricky Russo; one sister, Lindsey Welch; and his stepfather, James Homolka.

A visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. with a rosary recited at 3:30 p.m. today at Advantage Crystal Rose Funeral Chapel, 9155 W. Van Buren St., Tolleson.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. April 21 at St. Helen’s Catholic Church, 5510 W. Cholla St., Glendale.

Jesus A. Hernandez

Jesus A. Hernandez, 63, of Avondale died April 14, 2014.

Mr. Hernandez was born Oct. 14, 1950, in Chihuahua, Mexico, to Anastacio and Enriqueta Hernandez.

He is survived by his wife, Sunshine Pennington-Hernandez; two sons, Jesus and David; two daughters, Carolyn and Corrina; six brothers, Manuel, Abran; Anastacio, Miguel, Luis and Ismael; one sister, Alejandra; and 14 grandchildren.

A visitation is scheduled for 5 to 8 p.m. with a rosary recited at 5 p.m. April 21 at Advantage Crystal Rose Chapel, 9155 W. Van Buren St., Tolleson.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. April 22 at St. William’s Catholic Church, 11025 W. Third St., Avondale.

Charles ‘Chuck’ Earnest Sanders

Charles “Chuck” Earnest Sanders, 76, of Tonopah died April 3, 2014, in Phoenix.

Mr. Sanders was born March 15, 1938, in Albert Lea, Minn., to Earnest and Florence Sanders.

He was honorably discharged from the Army in 1954 after serving in the Korean War. He served in the Air Force as an aircraft mechanic crew chief from 1956 to 1962.

He retired from Guzman Construction in Globe. He worked on the Roosevelt Dam.

He was preceded in death by one son, Dale Sanders; one daughter, Lisa Ann Sanders; and one grandchild.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Sanders of Buckeye; two sisters, Margaret Shores of Gold Canyon and Dorothy Fagerstrom of Inverness, Ill.; one brother, Robert Sanders of Sheffield, Iowa; four daughters, Christy Lockler of Tonopah, Sandra Early of Reno, Nev., Shelly Barnett of Waterloo, Iowa, and Debra Ann Sanders; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

His ashes will be spread at the Roosevelt Dam.


Herman Edwin Walls

Herman Edwin Walls, 78, of Buckeye died April 13, 2014, in Avondale.

Mr. Walls was born Feb. 13, 1936, in Phoenix to Frederick and Lynn Walls.

He earned many awards as a Boy Scout.

He worked as an automatic transmission mechanic and owned an auto shop until his retirement.

He married Esther Woody June 14, 1957, at the Free Methodist Church in Buckeye.

He is survived by his wife, Esther Walls; two sons, Thomas Walls and Frederick Walls; one daughter, Cheryl David; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Louis B. Hazelton Cemetery, 23100 W. Broadway Road, Buckeye.

The Rev. Keith Howard will officiate.
