Family moonlight hike

Take a family moonlight hike at 7:30 p.m. at White Tank Mountain Regional Park, 20304 W. White Tank Mountain Road, Waddell. The hike will be a one- to two-mile walk along the Mule Deer and Bajada trails to look for scorpions and experience the desert at night. Take a flashlight and a scorpion light if you have one. Play & Learn — Brain Time is a program for infants to 5-year-olds and their parents or caregivers that provides caregivers the opportunity to socialize with other parents in a supportive environment. History of midwifery

Learn about the history of midwifery in the Americas from Marinah Farell, a licensed midwife, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the White Tank Branch Library, 20304 W. White Tank Mountain Road in Waddell.
