Goodyear police arrested 55-year-old Jimmy Lee Heiskell of Phoenix Wednesday on three counts of molestation of a child and six counts of sexual conduct of a minor.
Heiskell's arrest resulted from a recorded conversation involving Heiskell and the victim, a 14-year-old boy, said John Rowan, Goodyear police spokesman.
The conversation implicated Heiskell as a suspect, he said.
"The suspect made incriminating remarks during the recorded conversation," Rowan said.
The victim met Heiskell through an America Online chat room in 1999, he said.
Only recently was the molestation reported, Rowan said.
Heiskell is an ordained minister and has been associated with the West Valley Assembly of God Church, 1781 N. Central Ave. in Goodyear, Rowan said.
Heiskell's brother, Eugene Heiskell, is the current senior pastor of the church.
Anyone having further information involving criminal conduct of Jimmy Heiskell is asked to call the Goodyear Police Department at 623-932-1220.

Jim Heiskell is NOT a child molester. This boy that he "supposedly" molested, is a LIAR.

i disagree with Rob... after reading his comment i went back and reread the article... it states that Jimmy is an ordained minister and is associated with the West Valley Assembly of God church...no where does it state that he is a minister of the church... being a parent i appreciate the fact that they state where he may seeking his prey... thank you West Valley for this valuable information.

I have spoken with the editor and to the John Rowan. This article is misleading making it seem as if Jimmy Heiskill was a minister with the Assemblies of God and worked for West Valley. His association is only a relation to the pastor. SHAME ON YOU for erroneous reporting that is misleading. I don't want your inaccurate untrustworthy paper in my front yard anymore!
